SUPPLEMENTARY RETIREMENT PLAN
The Board of Trustees is exploring offering a Supplementary Retirement Plan (SRP) to District employees who are eligible to retire under CalPERS or CalSTRS. A resolution in support of exploring the SRP was approved on the January 11, 2017 Board meeting and authorizes the District to further explore the feasibility of offering the program during the 2016/17 fiscal year.
This page contains material regarding the SRP and will be updated with additional information as it becomes available. Both a timeline of what to expect and an overview of the process will be posted shortly.
SRP Workshop Calendar
In order to better understand the SRP process, orientation meetings will be held at all the LACCD locations. A calendar of dates and times are provided in the link below. The meetings are designed to provide general information to all employees about the SRP. Included in this workshop will be a presentation about the SRP as well as various support staff that can help with answering questions about CalSTRS, CalPERS, Medicare program and EAP services.
