Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges

Mission & Vision

The Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges works to remove barriers to education. We envision a future where all individuals seeking to broaden their knowledge and skills have access to education through the Los Angeles Community Colleges, regardless of their background.

Giving and Partnerships

The Foundation supports giving and partnerships that advance higher education access and success for the diverse students and communities served by the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). As the largest community college district in California, and among the largest in the nation, LACCD serves more than 200,000 students annually across its nine colleges.

The Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tax ID: 95-4106993.

Scholarships

The Foundation manages dozens of scholarship funds and other grant programs. To explore the list of active scholarships and those you may be eligible to apply for, visit the NextGen Portal via the link below. Students will need to use their Single Sign On (SSO) to see a scholarship list that is specific to their College and/or area of study.
