L.A. Southwest College - Thursday, May 23rd at 3:00pm
The Los Angeles Community College District African American Outreach Initiative (LACCD AAOI) welcomes all graduates and their families, faculty, and staff professionals to the 14th Annual Black Graduate Celebration. The Black Graduate Celebration is simply a cultural celebration honoring students. This culminating moment symbolizes the triumph of our educational journey, bringing our families, ancestors, and village of supporters with us to celebrate earning that college certificate or degree, a feat not afforded to the many that came before us due to segregation, racism, and injustice.
